Emergency services levy

The emergency services levy (ESL) is a State Government levy on all fixed and some mobile property to help fund emergency services across South Australia.

Money raised by the ESL is paid into the Community Emergency Services Fund to provide emergency services.

The fixed property component is levied on all land and your business may be liable to pay the ESL if it owns land as at 12.01 am on July 1st each year.

RevenueSA collects the fixed property component of the levy.
