The State Gazetteer is a database of place names in South Australia. The general aim of the database is to record any place name that is, or has been used in South Australia, to provide an accurate and definitive listing of place names for mapping, emergency services and general enquiry purposes. Associated with each name is up to 38 fields of information relating to feature type, classification, location, derivation and cross-reference to current, previous and alternative names.

The National Public Toilet Map (the Map) shows the location of more than 14,000 public and private public toilet facilities across Australia. Details of toilet facilities can also be found along major travel routes and for shorter journeys as well. Useful information is provided about each toilet, such as location, opening hours, availability of baby change rooms, accessibility for people with disabilities and the details of other nearby toilets.

The SA Government has established an initiative which offers support to South Australian community organisations and State Government community programs through the donation of surplus computing equipment. The Government acknowledges the value and benefit of the work performed by a wide range of people within the South Australian community and that these contributions may be enhanced through the re-allocation of surplus computing stock to community focussed groups and organisations.
