[DI-07]The Home Rebate scheme has been introduced to encourage South Australian households to achieve greater water savings inside and outside the home. Rebates are available for approved water efficient products purchased on or after 1 November 2007. Home Water Audits are available from 1 January 2008.

[DI-08] The State Government provides water and sewerage rate remission to eligible South Australians on low or fixed incomes, to reduce the cost of their water bills. To claim the concession you must complete an "Application for Concessions" form. Eligibility criteria can be viewed on the Department for Families and Communities web site.

[07] SA Water’s nine city reservoirs, located throughout Adelaide's catchment area, act as storage facilities for a number of water supply distribution systems in the city. Regional South Australians get their water via one of the large pipelines from the River Murray, from several small rural reservoirs or from local dams and ground water bores.

[DI-07] Customers who are going to carry out any building work - be it construction of a new house, home extensions or erecting a shed or carport must provide SA Water with a building plan at least 14 days prior to work commencing so that any potential impact on the water and sewer networks can be evaluated. The following types of information and data are provided are Site Information, Rainfall Data, Stream Water Level Data, Reservoir Level Data, Storage Volume Data, Flow Volume Data, Flow Rate Data and Salinity Data.

SA Water keeps plans of all properties internal sewer drains. Customers or plumbers occasionally require these plans for any modifications or repairs to these drains. For more information about this service (or access these plans online if you're a registered user with an account), select "Property Services" from the Customer Centre menu, then "Water and Sewer Pipe Information" from the list of services.
