Service SA - Document Verification Service
Online services outside Australia are unavailable. If you need assistance while overseas contact Service SA.

Document Verification Service

South Australia is part of the Australian Government's initiative to improve identity security. We use their Document Verification Service to confirm that your Australian identity documents are authentic.

The service checks if the details on your document match the original government record held by the document issuer. It usually provides a simple 'yes' or 'no' result to confirm the document is valid and belongs to you. It does not check facial images.
